Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation is also available as an optional postpartum service. Many mothers choose it because they hope it will support mood, energy, recovery, iron status, or milk supply. Research has confirmed that processed placenta capsules can retain measurable hormones and iron, and surveys show many users report positive experiences.
Careful, Traditional Preparation
I take the preparation of your placenta seriously. I use training and work practices informed by OSHA bloodborne-pathogen precautions, with careful sanitation and handling throughout the process. My preparation is inspired by traditional Chinese-style placenta preparation and includes steaming with lemon and ginger before dehydration and encapsulation. Each placenta is handled individually with careful attention to cleanliness, preparation, and storage.
Placenta encapsulation is a personal postpartum choice, and I want you to feel comfortable asking questions about exactly how your placenta will be handled and prepared.
I believe mothers deserve both respect for their choices and accurate information. Placenta encapsulation is offered as a personal postpartum option—not as a treatment or substitute for medical care.
